Two atheists, Bernie Dehler and Karen Garst, debate whether both Christianity and Atheism have issues of anti-feminism within their ranks.

This was a debate between two atheist feminists (Bernie Dehler & Karen Garst, Ph.D.) entitled “Feminism, Atheism, and Religion.” Details for the event can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/og8w4jz . 

They address these two main questions:
1. Does Christianity harm women?
2. Is there a problem for women in the ‘New Atheism’ movement? 

This happened on Wed. 11-11-15 in Beaverton Oregon, sponsored by The Center for Philosophical Naturalism. Based on the learnings from this debate, they will upgrade their arguments for a debate on the same topic at Portland State University (PSU) on Tue. 12-15-15.
